Транспортный парк Челябинска в этом году пополнится новыми усть-катавскими трамваями
Губернатор Челябинской области Алексей Текслер объявил о запуске масштабной программы реновации трамвайного парка и инфраструктуры в Челябинске.
О старте программы Алексей Текслер заявил после презентации нового односекционного низкопольного трамвайного вагона модели 71-628, разработанного АО «Усть-Катавский вагоностроительный завод» (входящим в Госкорпорацию «Роскосмос»), который сейчас проходит обкатку в Челябинске.
— Это новый трамвай Усть-Катавского вагоностроительного завода. В Челябинске проходит обкатку. Полтора года назад я поручал руководству предприятия разработать новую модель — низкопольную, максимально комфортную для пассажиров. В этом году после всех тестов модель будет запущена в серию, — сообщил глава региона. — Теперь о главном. Вы часто спрашивали меня: когда займемся обновлением трамвайного парка в Челябинске? Решение принял. В этом году закупим 30 новых трамваев для Челябинска. Другой модели, но таких же удобных и современных. Со следующего года будем приобретать уже новую модель. Этот вагон за номером 001 по традиции останется работать в Челябинске. Старые трамваи будут уходить в прошлое.Также начинаем масштабное обновление инфраструктуры, в частности трамвайных путей в Челябинске
Также, губернатор пообещал постепенно обновить транспортный парк по всей области.
