Губернатор Челябинской области Борис Дубровский провел торжественный прием участников ХXIII зимней Олимпиады и Паралимпиады в городе Пхенчхане и их тренеров, — сообщает пресс-служба главы региона.
«Искренне рад нашей встрече и хочу сразу сказать вам от имени всех южноуральцев большое спасибо за участие в Олимпийских и Паралимпийских играх. За то, что отстояли славу российского спорта, честь страны и нашей Челябинской области. Спорт должен быть выше политики. Он призван в честной борьбе объединять, а не разобщать людей. Обратное противоречит смыслу и духу олимпийского движения. В этот раз сама возможность участия в Олимпийских играх потребовала мужества и выдержки. Прессинг был сильнейший. Верно сказал Президент Владимир Владимирович Путин, что вам пришлось бороться «за себя и за того парня». Вы справились с этой задачей. Стали образцом для тысяч юных южноуральцев, которые только начинают свой спортивный путь. Это особенно важно и ценно. Мы по праву гордимся вами и вашими наставниками. Болеем и сопереживаем за вас, верим в вашу спортивную удачу», – приветствовал губернатор Челябинской области Борис Дубровский спортсменов и тренеров.
За большой вклад в развитие физической культуры и спорта, высокие спортивные достижения на ХXIII Олимпийских зимних играх 2018 года в городе Пхенчхане (Республика Корея) благодарность от главы региона получили личный тренер по хоккею Олимпийских чемпионов Вячеслава Войнова и Никиты Нестерова Вячеслав Угрюмов, личные тренеры по хоккею Олимпийского чемпиона Нестерова Николай Бец, Олег Черкасов и Андрей Сапожников.
Борис Дубровский вручил благодарность участникам Олимпийских Игр по фристайлу Игорю Омелину и Егору Короткову, а так же участнице Олимпийских Игр по шорт-треку Екатерине Ефременковой.
За подготовку участников ХXIII Олимпийских зимних игр благодарность из рук главы региона получили личные тренеры участников Олимпиады по фристайлу Вадим Коротков, Людмила Короткова и Дмитрий Смышляев, а также личные тренеры участницы Олимпиады по шорт-треку Ю Дахе и Анна Радкевич.
Кроме того, благодарностью губернатора Челябинской области за большой вклад в развитие физической культуры и спорта, высокие спортивные достижения на ХII Паралимпийских зимних играх 2018 года были награждены участники Паралимпийских Игр по керлингу Дарья Щукина, Марат Романов и их тренер Марина Согрина.
