Дзюдоисты Челябинской области завоевали четыре награды на юниорском первенстве России в Екатеринбурге.
В соревнованиях участвовали 578 спортсменов и спортсменок 1994-1996 годов рождения из 60-ти субъектов РФ, в том числе 362 юниора и 216 юниорок. Южный Урал представляли 30 человек. Четверо выиграли медали – «серебро» и три «бронзы».
Лучший результат из посланцев Челябинской области показала воспитанница школы дзюдо Катав-Ивановска Сабина Галязова, выступавшая в весе до 44 кг. Ученица тренера Александра Щенова нанесла поражение Гевгер Ибрагимовой из Махачкалы, Дарье Денисовой из Димитровграда и Анастасии Ивановой из подмосковного Пушкино. В финальном поединке, как и год назад, Сабина уступила победительнице прошлогоднего первенства мира Анастасии Павленко из Самары. У Гилязовой вновь «серебро».
Состязания в Екатеринбурге были отборочными для включения в состав сборной команды России и участия в международных турнирах, сентябрьском первенстве Европы в Бухаресте и октябрьском первенстве мира в Майами.
Первенство страны стало первым в «уральской серии» российских чемпионатов этого года. В апреле в Тюмени состоится первенство страны среди дзюдоистов в возрасте до 23 лет. В октябре в Ханты-Мансийске будут спорить за медали взрослые спортсмены. И, конечно, главным событием года станет чемпионат мира, который пройдет в Челябинске с 25-го по 31 августа.
Легкая атлетика
В Пензе прошло зимнее Первенство России по легкой атлетике среди спортсменов 1999-2000годов рождения. В этих соревнованиях приняли участие 450 спортсменов со всей страны. Город Трехгорный представляли два спортсмена — Вероника Абгарян и Роман Мальчиков .
В жаркой борьбе спортсмены Трехгорного показали личные рекорды, но только Веронике Абгарян удалось завоевать призовые места: тройной прыжок – 1 место, прыжок в длину — 2 место.
Выступление Романа Мальчикова можно тоже считать удачным, он стал 6-м в тройном прыжке. Результаты трехгорненских легкоатлетов говорят о том, что они могут достойно соперничать с сильнейшими спортсменами страны на основном летнем первенстве России, которое состоится в июне этого года в Пензе.

Лыжные гонки
В Трехгорном 7 марта в районе Нового моста прошло 8-е традиционное открытое первенство СДЮСШОР № 1 по лыжным гонкам, в котором, приняли участие 80 спортсменов в возрасте от 8 до 17 лет из Усть-Катава (3 команды), Трехгорного и Сима.
Первые места в своих возрастных группах заняли трехгорненцы Екатерина Степанова, Дмитрий Храмов, Алексей Зубков и Леонид Пестряк. Третье место — у Екатерины Спичко .
Также сборная команда Трехгорного в составе Храмова, Степановой, Исакова, Спичко заняла первое место в смешанной эстафете 4х1 км свободным стилем.
Карате
В Челябинске прошло первенство области по каратэ среди мальчиков и девочек 10-11 лет, юношей и девушек 12-13 лет, посвященное памяти Героя России гвардии майора Е. Н. Родионова. Всего в соревнованиях приняло участие 240 спортсменов из Челябинска и области.
Воспитанники СДЮСШОР по дзюдо отделения каратэ г. Трехгорный показали хорошие результаты. В возрастной категории 10-11 лет среди девочек Арина Первухина заняла 3-е место в весовой категории свыше 36 кг. Среди юношей 12-13 лет Руслан Воробьев стал первым в весовой категории до 36 кг.
Соревнования являлись отборочными на первенство России по каратэ, которое пройдет в апреле этого года в Сочи.
